Rubber Tracks Warranty
COMPACT TRACK LOADER
CTL Rubber Tracks are covered for a period of 12 months. The first 6 months are replacement warranty, and the remaining 6 months is prorated.
MINI EXCAVATOR
Mini Excavator Rubber Tracks are covered for a period of 24 months. The first 12 months are replacement warranty, and the remaining 12 months is prorated.
CRAWLER DUMPER
Crawler Dumper Rubber Tracks are covered for a period of 12 months. The first 6 months are replacement warranty, and the remaining 12 months is prorated.
DIRECTIONAL DRILLS
Directional Drill Rubber Tracks are covered for a period of 24 months. The first 12 months are replacement warranty, and the remaining 12 months is prorated.
MTL/POSITRACKS
MTL Rubber Tracks are covered for a period of 12 months. The first 6 months are replacement warranty, and the remaining 6 months is prorated.
TFI warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 24 months from the date of the original purchase. If within the 24 months from the original date of purchase the product fails due to defect in material or workmanship, the purchaser must contact TFI and provide a description of the defective part, including pictures, with the original purchase documentation as validation of warranty coverage date.
Claim Procedure
Our Warranty grants our customers full product replacement within the replacement period. Then the pro rata system is used. The following criteria and the TFI warranty form need to be completed:
A copy of the original invoice, along with the make, model, and year of the equipment, as well as the following pictures:
- Picture of the serial number(s) (moulded on the inside of the track)
- Picture of the complete track on the machine
- Picture of the defect
- Picture of the track size (moulded on the inside of the track)
- Picture of the work area where the machine was being operated
- Picture of the sprockets and undercarriage condition
Please refer to your owner’s manual for information regarding part replacement guidelines for your specific type of machine. TFI recommends replacement of any visibly worn undercarriage part or any undercarriage part which has been used in excess of 1,000 hours.
This warranty does not cover or apply to:
(a) Damage or premature failure due to operator misuse, mishandling, or abuse
(b) Products not used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or recommendations
(c) Product not installed according to manufacturer’s instructions,
(d) Normal wear and tear
(e) Products used in demolition or recycling applications
(f) Products used in abusive environments
*Please note that warranty claims may be void if there is any indication of product abuse, improper installation of parts, improper track tension, improper matching of new/used product, or product use on equipment with an excessively worn undercarriage.
